La Mulana: Lemeza vs. Sakit by GoldenOne La Mulana: Lemeza vs. Sakit by GoldenOne
Many, many moons ago I made a journal entry offering to do some requests. Soon after I got started on the requests my hard-drive went tits-up, and by the time I had a working computer again (several months) I had forgotten about the requests.

Sooo...better (very) late than never, here is the first completed request.

This request was for an "action piece" representing this boss battle from the indie game, "La Mulana:" [link]

Is it okay if I use this artwork for a video I'm making?

Very nice!

I have the Wiiware remake,it's a great game, although i feel deeply ashamed because i used the gun to win the boss fight(that gun is so overpowered).

So awesome that I overlook that Sakit's left hand is the one that extends.

I like this picture. Mainly because of the epic music playing in the background when you fight this guy.

What kept me sane trying to beat him with only the whip was the music. Unfortunately, I never beat him without the knife.

One word.

EPIC.

Also, that fight was a pain in the ass. Thank the Mother for someone putting a chain whip in the Inferno Cavern.

AWESOME!

This came out beautifully! Seeing the simple pixels in a video game brought to life in art is a wonderful treat in and of itself. But having such a scene, a single element in a climactic battle, shown in a single shot that still conveys motion... Sublime.

For a free request, you went the whole nine yards, I must say. This is some prime quality work. The background and bits of dust really carry the ruin feel, even if you don't actually see any structures. Perspective is well-done as well.

Thank you kindly, my good man. I am blown away.
